Blue and White Abstract Painting in Vintage Frame

This is a contemporary abstract painting in and unusual white-washed wooden vintage frame. The frame is part of a group of really great frames we found at Brimfield this past month. Lots of intricate carving in the wood and many layers of paint over the years gives this frame a lot of character and patina. The painting is an original acrylic and oil stick abstract on canvas panel in soft grey blue tones and dove white. The painting is protected with many layers of varnish.

The overall outer size of the framed art is 18x20 (the frame border is 5 inches wide all around). The painting within the frame is 8x10. Signed on the back, papered and wired for hanging. This would also be great layered on top of a gilded mirror or placed in a built in bookcase or shelf display.
